LIVING OPTIONS
Independent Living
Independent living at Rosewood Erie Glen is for those who seek the joys of community, engagement and fulfillment without having to worry about the burden of everyday stressors. With weekly laundry and housekeeping services, 24 hour access to nursing care and emergency services, you can continue to lead an active lifestyle while freely participating in programs and events.
Assisted Living
This living option provides comfortable suites for those with greater physical care needs in Rosewood’s caring and nurturing environment. Every assisted living situation has unique requirements, so our nursing staff treats each one with attentive, individualized and special care. We make it a priority that your loved one’s needs are met, allowing them to face each day with dignity and experience a confidence that may not be available at home. Our home is focused on creating an environment that is social, engaging and emotionally supportive – providing the opportunity for your loved ones to live life their way, getting the special care they need while enjoying all the services of independent living.
Short Stay and Respite Accommodations
For individuals who require a safe and comfortable place to stay and recuperate, we offer all the benefits of our assisted living services. Our residents are treated with dignity and respect as one of our community members for the entirety of their stay.
OUR SERVICES AND AMENITIES
HEALTH CARE
Our trained and caring personal support and nursing staff are available 24 hours a day to assist, if necessary, with managing and administering medications, implementing doctor’s recommendations, bathing and personal care as required.
Other services that we can arrange within the home include:
• Pharmacy Services
• Physiotherapy *
• Foot Care *
• Assistance with transportation to activities and meals within the home
* Physiotherapy and Foot Care is with pay only. For physio, if arranging with the OHT is based on their assessment if the resident qualifies for treatment. Otherwise a resident can always purchase the service of a physiotherapist they choose.
DINING
Our dietary team will provide you with three delicious meals daily plus snacks. All meals, with choice of options, are served by courteous staff members in our comfortable dining room that is designed to provide a relaxing atmosphere as if you were enjoying meals in the comfort of your own home.
Social and Recreational
Our recreational staff are committed to providing you with a variety of programs designed to keep you physically, socially and cognitively active.
Some of the activities and events include:
• Regular exercise classes 3x a week
• Regularly scheduled outings to local shopping, restaurants, entertainment etc.
• Trivia, bingo and games in the activity room
• Live entertainment
• Special interest activities including: puzzles, karaoke, scrabble and cards

Building Services and Amenities
We offer affordable private and deluxe suites to suit your needs, with ample resident and visitor parking available. Our professional office staff are available 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, to assist you with any questions you may have. Residents can enjoy our lounge areas, games room, on-site beauty salon and outdoor courtyard.
